Exchange 2010 Server (Overflow Team) ? Intermediate Level -- Part Time Work



The Opportunity

Microsoft Certified Partner, Exiis Corporation, is seeking additional members for our Exchange 2010 Enterprise Team. Members of this team are utilized when internal resources are unavailable or are assigned to on-going projects. Many of our Senior Staff Members have started on this team and have been invited to join our Exchange team on a full-time basis. The company offers flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely (telecommute) from a home office. The position starts as an independent contractor (sub-contractor) with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.



The Experience we need?

Because this is an on-call position, Exiis Corporation is looking for Exchange 2010 Server Administrators who have had past, working, real-time experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007, and Exchange 2010 Server. A commitment to professional, on-going training and the credentials as a Certified Microsoft Messaging or related certification, or equivalent college and work experience is needed. Due to the relationship and high expectations our clients set for our company, your Microsoft Certified Professional ID must be linked to our company when clients verify your credentials.



Skillset:

? Ability to listen to client concerns, understand their position, and assist in resolving their issue is a professional and courteous fashion.

? Ability to read, write, speak and enunciate English as a primary language. Must be able to clearly communicate ideas, concepts, and goals.

? Ability to treat all levels of network administrators with respect, communicate in a courteous manner, and to share knowledge freely.

? Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Small Business Server 2003, Windows 2008 R2 and Small Business Server 2008.

? Intermediate understanding of Active Directory services related to Microsoft Exchange System Objects and registry entries.

? Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complicated messaging and routing challenges commonly encountered with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007 and 2010.

? Deep understanding of Internet protocols, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) principals, AutoDiscover, RPC over HTTPS, and required records needed to ensure the delivery of email to all public mail systems.

? Deep understanding of Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010 client requirements. Including but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Outlook Anywhere, RPC over HTTPS, Windows

Smart Phones, Blackberry, iPhones, IMAP based clients, and the AutoDiscover proxy service.

? Core understanding of backup and recovery techniques related to the Microsoft Information Store and databases.

? Core understanding of Exchange 2007 and 2010 continuity offerings and how they are utilized in small and enterprise-level organizations.

? Core understanding of routers and firewalls, including but not limited to: Cisco PIX, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA), Microsoft ForeFront Threat Management Gateway (TMG), Microsoft ForeFront for Exchange, Sonic Wall, and related devices.



Environment:

Virtual, work-from-home opportunity. The ideal candidate is available for on-call break/fix and longer-term project-based assignments. Preference is placed on Exchange Administrators who are available to work during normal business hours and weekends.



Requirements:

? Telephone capable of unlimited long distance calls throughout the US and Canada.

? WebEx, Got-To-Assist, or other remote connection software for assisting clients.

? Independent contractors license, business license, or some other form of identity proving you have the legal right to conduct business on a business to business relationship.

? Microsoft Certified Professional ID linked to Exiis Corporation.



Compensation:

? Depends on project, length, and client agreement.

? Minimum rate guarantee: $30.00/hr.
