~Identify potential suppliers,Select suppliers via fair,internet,catelogue,etc.





~negotiate terms and conditions of delivery,payment,etc.for materials, spare parts,etc.in a timely and cost effective manner;





~Prepare for, receive, and analyze customer's RFQ, Incorporate quality specifications into purchase orders and/or contracts to maintain high quality standard;





~Evaluate, monitor and review supplier performance;





~Follow up with project progress, material requirement planning to achieve operations efficiency;





~Monitor prices from suppliers, and analyze impact based upon usage and report finding to management;





~Conduct value analysis / value engineering processes to reduce total cost of ownership;





~Establish and enforce procedures to ensure proper recording and tracking of all purchased items;





~Identify and resolve problems with suppliers and customers in a timely manner;





~Ensure compliance with internal and external control measures;





~Provide support in other projects as and when required.
